I’m a graduate student at Harvard University studying International Relations. My family resides in Puerto Rico, and my on-going efforts have been to assist them and their neighbors in the wake of Hurricane Maria, by bringing much needed aid.
Dominoes to Dignity was created to shed light on the plight of Puerto Rico. Its aim is to educate, inform, mobilize, and seek a sustainable and dignified future for Puerto Rico. The status quo is no longer viable.
Living a dignified life is one that includes opportunities, advancement, and social justice. If we seek to understand the foundational needs that humanity strives for then we will not settle for a solution that does not seat dignity at the head of the table. Dignity is the future for Puerto Rico, that will help pave the way for quality healthcare, a paramount education, and a sustainable environment.
Thank you for coming along on this journey to transform Puerto Rico.
